If you have specific products, product tags, or collections that are only available and shipped on specific dates and times, you can block out the unavailable dates and times using the “Block out specific dates and times” override without affecting the rest of your store.

Example Scenario: Suppose your store normally offers Standard Shipping from Monday to Saturday, but a particular product cannot be shipped on Saturdays. You can create a Block Dates and Times override for that product and block Saturday.

How to set product overrides to block out specific dates and times for shipping

1. Under the Product overrides section, click on Add overrides.

2. From the options given, click Create under the Block dates and times option.

3. Name your override. (Example: Public holidays)

4. Choose one of the following ways to apply the override:

• Specific products – Apply the rule to selected products.
• Product tags – Apply the rule to products with a specific Shopify product tag.
• Collections – Apply the rule to products in a selected collection.

If you select Specific products,

1. Click on Add products.

2. Choose the specific product(s) from the product list shown and press Add.
